dynoed my bike

Post by Snakes709 » Sat Aug 17, 2019 1:01 am

So decided to toss my bike on the dyno today to see how the curves all look. Everything looks perfect and bike runs great. Made 208whp and 96tq. Dyno does read low as my zx14r with full exhaust and tune made 189hp and a H2 with brocks flash, exhaust and sprint f1-85 filter made 210hp. The day they ran he H2 was warmer then when we ran my bike today so hp gap is probably abit bigger. Mods are

zx10r header conversion
yoshumura alpha 3/4 system
sprint p08 air filter
vcyclenut flash
driven block off plates

Did you have them run the A/F ratio while on it? I think you are leaving money on the table so to speak.

Yup. Its right on with what vcyclenut set it and what i see on my laptop when data logging. Its on par with what everyone is making with similar mods/tune. Was trapping 145mph on the 1/4 mile which is also what others are trapping.

Right on, once it gets below 110* degrees here in the day I am going to take mine back to the dyno...the reason I topped out at 192 was running rich up top. That has been corrected, so I want to see where I ended up.

Snakes709 and PhukDD, what AFR are you two, individually, thinking is 'best' for overall power?

Snakes709, what are you thoughts on the two different flashes (Vcycle/Woolich), compare and contrast?

Prof....I think nothing. Woolich is used by race teams around the world and their software said 12 something was ideal and I was over in those gears and rpms....I said ok...you are the expert,... software...and reflashed my bike. Now granted my dyno supported the fact the where Woolich said something could be adjusted matched up. So being a data guy by trade...I went with it. When I get back to a dyno , I do not expect them to be wrong..they know what they are doing. But for the sake of the internet’s....we will post the results.
