The Graves exhaust looks really good. Until now I haven't seen any short exhausts that I liked but yours really goes with the bike and looks like it belongs on an H2 SX. I think it's the black finish that does it - it blends. Good job Scotty.

Thanks Champ87...
I think the Graves exhaust looks way better with the painted cap as well. Its a high heat black metallic paint that is holding up great ;)

But is it quiet? Can't have loud exhaust any more! Can't hear as it is.

It’s actually not that loud when you are cruising around but when you get on it it’s loud. Everyone that hears it thinks it sounds great.
I usually wear earplugs anyways so I am good with it.

Looks super, Scotty. You did a really good job of cleaning up the rear, especially with the footpeg delete and short exhaust. I'd like to get rid of my passenger pegs, but I still need the brackets for when I mount the side cases.

Question: Did you cut the Techspec grips yourself, or were they sized for a similar bike? I ask because I'm going to be picking up Techspec grips soon, and my prob is that my hands usually don't do a tidy job of freehand cutting.

Looks great!
-passenger peg bracket delete and custom powder coated bracket
you should find a way to sell these brackets, or give the design to someone who can manuf and sell.

Scotty, your bike looks killer, one of the best conversions I've seen yet on these bikes. I love all the blacked out parts, always did like that look. The Graves set-up is the only exhaust I think looks better than the carbon Yosh. Good job man, you should be proud of that bad boy!

Thanks guys...I am happy with the way it turned out.

Burmashave....the Techspec tank pads I used were the generic cut your own bulk sheet kit. I used thin cardboard templates cut to size to figure out what shape I wanted then simply traced the shape onto the bulk Techspec sheet. I then flipped the template over and traced for the other side. The material cuts fairy easily with heavy duty scissors.
The plan is to unbolt the bracket for the rear shock res (its only 3 bolts) and bolt the passenger pegs back on when I use the bags for trips. It’s super fast and easy.

Pyrocritic...I thought about having these brackets fabbed up and selling a kit. Let me see what I can do when I have some time ;)

Cheers guys!

I debated going with the graves. In some ways i regret it. And I too also got the techspec grips and cut it myself
