I'm digging up this old topic. I don't know if anyone has continued in this quest.
I bought for less than $100 a kit of titanium nuts and washers

Yeh, I've carried on with the weight saving. Just replaced the swing arm with one from an H2 and most of the rear suspension including Ohlins shock .Ive got titanium washers for the rear wheel, but can only find the nuts that match the OEM ones from Zeta Racing, they are around $130/£106. Im Down just over 46lbs now. 21KG.

15mm shorter wheelbase now, looking shorter and more sporty too..

Yes, I found the price to be reasonable for the 5 nuts and 5 washers

KompreSXor, how do you find riding with the reduced wheelbase of the H2 swingarm?

To be honest, the ride height was too much when I first installed the H2 Swing arm with either the H2 or H2 SX suspension links or knuckles. It changed direction much much quicker than stock but had a tendency to to "tuck" on the front when cornering. This was due to the geometry changes coming from too much ride height coupled with a decreased wheelbase, altering rake and trail radically. I had some custom linkages made to restore the ride height, this has fixed the "tuck" and restored neutral handling, albeit slightly more aggressive. Sag is now set correctly too.

Squat seems fine and I can drive as hard as before out of bend with no appreciable difference in grip or oversteer, direction changes are much improved with an almost "litre sports bike" feel apart from the extra weight our bikes carry. Wheelies seem no more than usual, although it used to lift the front in the first 3 gears anyway, so i expect that to continue.. :D Ride comfort seems better, but I put that down to the Ohlins TTX not the swing arm, I have lost a small amount of travel on the rear, 135mm now instead of the stock 139mm. I've never took a passenger and don't expect to, and haven't had it bottom out either. Overall I did it for the handling improvements and the "look".. With the bike de-catted it looks a little out of proportion with a large gap between the rear wheel and engine, IMHO this mod restores the balanced look of the bike..

Your feedback is really interesting, thank you.
In terms of weight gain what is the difference between the two bare swingarms? and what is the difference in length?

The H2 swing arm is 15mm shorter (centre to centre) and 700 grams lighter than the H2SX..
