Carbon wheels are next I assume ;)

Not just an unsprung mass saving but a significant rotational mass saving.

Yeh, I’d love the reduction in weight and improvements they offer, but I’ll be honest I don’t like the look of the carbon back wheel, and the cost is kinda high.. I prefer these Magtan ones but the price is even higher!!...🤣

Yea, not gonna lie, I like the look of the oem wheels a lot. I definitely like them more than the BSTs, but I'll probably still get BSTs at some point.

Just curious, those grab handles on the rear, would it be worth taking them off? Guess i could & see for my self

Yeh, I have considered the grab rails and the cornering lights too as they would give me a nice chunk of weight reduction, but I’d also be removing features from the bike, and I don’t want that. It’s still an all rounder and can outgun most things on the road, scratch, commute and tour all day. It’s the best bike on the market IMHO...😁

I think it would be awesome to weigh the bike itself when you're done with all the mods.

I think I remember (a post saying that) if you weigh the front and the back it's actually accurate to add these values together. Just can't have the weight on a kickstand when you do it.

Just a few thoughts on weight saving.

Leathers, they weigh a lot, Helmet, gloves too.
Loose some weight yourself.
Go to the toilet first! Could be the weight saving a slip on would give you.
Cut hair, trim toe nails, stop eating and drinking.

More seriously great exercise.

Love the SX, its a bit lardy. But holly cow can it shift. I have just finished running it in on a weekend away.
Effortlessly lifts the front wheel 115MPH+, rather impressed.
Never seems to run out of steam before I run out of road.

I too got the panniers, handy for picking up takeaways and going for a weekend away and I can now certify them at 140MPH+, not a bad bit of kit. Does make the back of the bike look a bit wide though. At least they can be removed easily.

Mine's still on warranty and finance so not planning any mods yet. Love the table you created on weight saving.

You should include links to the parts you bought. 😁 I wouldn't mind some titanium bits, etc.

Just my Cancerous Breadbox/Cat Delete and stock Can. Not much else I think should be sacrificed.
