Quiet aftermarket muffler
Quiet aftermarket muffler
I'm wondering what users of aftermarket cans think are the more 'quieter' cans?
I'm pretty hard of hearing and want the most quiet aftermarket I can find. I do use and have various ear plugs, and my current focus is on the most quiet can.
Thank you.

Re: Quiet aftermarket muffler
After researching this myself I went with the Yoshi alpha. Super quiet even without the low volume insert.
Also, I think it looks great.

Is the slip on the only mod you have done?JustinP wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:51 pm After researching this myself I went with the Yoshi alpha. Super quiet even without the low volume insert.

Yes, just the slip-on so for. And I'll be doing the ECU flash tune soon - just the lowest power tune.Clintr79 wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 9:18 pmIs the slip on the only mod you have done?JustinP wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:51 pm After researching this myself I went with the Yoshi alpha. Re: Quiet aftermarket muffler
It doesn't. At the end of this video you can see how it looks with panniers.

+1 for the Yoshi Carbon can. Looks great and sounds better as well. As stated, no problem with the panniers although it sure sits close to the rim (no issues though).

Re: Quiet aftermarket muffler
The other thing to remember is that the bulk of the baffling on these bikes is done in the "toaster" underneath. So any slip-on with decent baffling is going to be fairly quiet.
