Kawasaki lo-comfort seat, knights lowering pegs. My experience

Post by screen-name » Wed Jul 10, 2019 12:15 am

Ok, so I bought the Kawasaki lo-comfort seat and the knights 1 3/8" lowering pegs. I rode about 100 miles, dropped the parts on and then rode another 100 miles. So, the Kawasaki seat looks a lot nicer. I like the subtle suede panels on the sides and front. I will admit the seat stops the slight slide forward, crushing the boys movement of the stock seat, however I didn't feel much lower and it's not much more comfortable then the stock seat. It did seem to put me into a better position for comfort upright riding, but after an hour I still had the same hot spot on my tail bone/ass bones. Still up for debate if it's worth the money
The knights pegs made a difference. Not a lot, but it opened my legs up just enough to not feel so cramped. I think these were the biggest difference between the two parts. I didn't ride hard and try to drag peg, so I haven't had to deal with that yet. But daily driving, they are definitely worth it.
I've tried to include before/after pics
Together I think they make the bike a lot more pleasurable to ride. A lot less cramped and I don't slide forward anymore. Don't mind my ugly ass. Just trying to show difference

The Knights Pegs definitely makes a difference, seems that a custom seat modification is the best way to go.

For sure, the pegs made an instant difference. The only issue I have with them is it makes reaching the brake and shift levers harder. You have to reach up with your toe(if that makes sense) to get to them. They are lower then the lever. So I have to look and see if I can adjust them. But other then that, it was instantly more comfortable on my legs.
I think with the seat, it just repositioned your rear a bit so you're not sliding forward into the tank. Again, not as much of a feel of the moment difference but I did notice when I'm riding I'm not shifting around as much. More planted, if you will.

Yes, you have to adjust them. The instructions are in the service manual, not really difficult.

Be conscious of the cruise control switch on the brake side, you'll have to adjust that as you adjust the brake (easily done) and the brake light switch.

Search this forum, I'm sure it's been discussed in more lucid detail.

Hi like many readers, I am interested in the Knight foot pegs, looking at their website, they don’t list the H2 SX. I assume that the ones youve successfully fitted are for another model? Could you let me know which ones they are? Many thanks
