Luggage colour change?
I see some countries get nice green colour coded luggage.
Here in Australia we only get plain black luggage.
Am I right in thinking that I can just order the green parts and fit them to my luggage?
Are the green half lids just a coloured cover over the black or a replacement part?
Anyone done this?
Turned green box’s all black or added green to black box’s? I

Re: Luggage colour change?
Tony, when you say that you got plain black luggage, do you mean that you got the standard cases with black color panels and stripes? If so, you can swap them out for any color Kawasaki has available. Kawi puts the same cases (made by Givi) on several bikes and matches the bags by the color panel and stripes. If you have an '18 SX SE, the matching color would be Emerald Blaze Green:Tony Nitrous wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 6:06 am I see some countries get nice green colour coded luggage.

Re: Luggage colour change?
When my black bags arrived, the top had no color scheme - meaning the top needed some type of color addition, as the top was 'empty'.
Do some bag sets come with a color top set?

I believe that in all markets, the part number for the bags does not include top covers, side stripes, keys or mounting hardware. They are ordered separately because they are specific to the bike whereas the same bags are used for a variety of models.Prof J wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 12:04 am When my black bags arrived, the top had no color scheme - meaning the top needed some type of color addition, as the top was 'empty'.

There is a range of colors available to suit each particular machine - or owner's preference. When the H2 SX SE was first released there was a shortage of matching green panels. Some dealers provided black panels as a short-term substitute until green panels arrived. In my case, the dealer included the bags at no extra cost as part of the negotiation so I didn't make a big deal about waiting a few weeks for panels and stripes. The bags did look pretty crap without them though! Here's an extract from a photo the dealer took when I collected my bike - without panels, without stripes, no keys (dealer forgot to order) and those ugly reflectors that didn't stay long.

Re: Luggage colour change?
I ordered the green tops and side stripes at my local dealer this morning.
They should arrive in a few days.
