What was your assment of the steering head bearings? Within limits or replaced? There are a few(alot actually) bikes out there with the same style roller bearings for the steering stem,some of the bikes have an issue with death wobble becuse of it,and the fix is to put the all-balls tapered bearings in which provide a stronger and wider surface area. Very well known in the Honda VTX world. If you found them to be worn enough for replacement,I will start trying to find the all-balls cross referance now for mine,as I experienced the differance personally.

There was still sufficient grease on these bearings. I washed and examined them thoroughly. So far no problem. Of course, you can try other options later. The main thing is no Williy
