Who has bought a non-stock seat and what are your thoughts on the new seat, company et. al.? Anyone buy a non-stock for 'lowering'?

I had my stock SE seat modified by Sargent. I specifically asked them not to lower it since the stock legroom is cramped IMHO. They dished it out and raised the front.

I had new seats made up by a local motorcycle seat shop. Rear seat sat the missus a little too far back and the front seat just hurt. New seats are a vast improvement.

Good to hear positive results. I'm thinking of going to a local vehicle upholster, as well.

I put a Corbin on my 14 and that provided comfort ok, and a little lower, which I also liked. Being 4'11" makes the stretch to the pavement a little short. ha!

The reason I had the rear seat modified is because my better half is also slightly vertically challenged. The seat sat her so far back that holding on with her knees was not easy.
