Re: ECU re-flash EU?
I visited RSI Performance in Königsdorf, Germany since I live nearby. I rode his flashed 238hp SXSE+. The thing is, after talking to the owner I'm not sure if they really know what they're doing. 238bhp with just a slip-on seems a bit omnious to me. Also the statement that the engine is exact the same as the one in the h2r and made for 300hp made me wonder. Also I don't know how the reflash will affect emissions, as Euro 4 is very strict

Re: ECU re-flash EU?
Do they retest your bike after purchase? We have a similar test for cars, depending on state, we have to test our cars every 1 to 2 years (maybe more, depending on state). No such test for bikes (shhhh don't tell them). Just curious.Oyabun wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 9:59 am"Also I don't know how the reflash will affect emissions, as Euro 4 is very strictdan_h2sx wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 9:09 am I visited RSI Performance in Königsdorf, Germany since I live nearby. Re: ECU re-flash EU?
Yes, I can understand your concern.
I've yet to decide for my bike, but what I did for my 14 was to option: 1) have a fuel ECU that could hold several maps, one stock and the other a tune, and the map could be loaded by a button press sequence, I think - it's been about 9-10 years now, my memory is a memory of it's self - dimming, and option 2) you find a compatible gadget, like a Power Commander - or similar, and then save your stock map, send your ECU to get flashed, then save that map. Then you can interchange at will, but more costly.
