Well I have tested a ton of different configurations with the stock bov and the tial and I think I have a setup that will work with the tune I have now.
I was headed to go test it when the plugs fouled out so I don’t know if it will work yet. I just received one set of plugs I ordered yesterday so I may get it put back together today however now it shows rain for the rest of the week.
I ordered a couple different kinds of plugs to see if I can find us some more options.
Ok. Did you come to a determination on the stock SX PSI range/max range, and what are your observations on comparing the stock and tial BOV, strenghts/weaknesses? If you are going to use one as primary vs the other, how'd you come to that decision?
I think most people will find that it’s just too much messing around to make this bov work on this bike. I don’t think there are any advantages to running the tial over stock.
It just has a different sound which I personally like better than the stock bov. There are plenty of disadvantages to running the tial if it isn’t set up correctly though and I’ll talk more about that when I’m done testing everything.
I plan to make a video that will show the difference between the two bovs and some of the problems you will have with different configurations.
Bryan468,
I probably missed the info elsewhere. What were your ending discoveries re: the Tial experiment?

After I installed the supercharger spring in the bov it was working good except for one problem.
When I accelerate from a stoplight, stop sign ect.. sometimes I prefer to run the bike up to the speed limit in first gear and then just shift to 5th or 6th. When I would do that sometimes the bike would quit when I would let off the throttle.
With some adjustments to the tune I’m sure the blow off valve could have worked but I don’t have tuning software yet so I ordered the turbo smart blow off valve instead.
The blow off valves sound very similar so I would recommend that if you’re after the sound to just buy the turbo smart blow off valve. It’s cheaper, doesn’t require a custom mounting flange, and doesn’t require nearly as strong of a vacuum signal.
One other thing to note. There’s a electronic control valve for the blow off valve. I have bypassed that valve. Some of the h2 guys are doing it and claim it makes the bike smoother. I normally run vcyclenuts linear power map so I can’t say I really noticed any difference but it does work perfectly without the electronic valve.

OK. Other than the sound, for you, were there any other advantages to a non-stock BOV?
I had a Tial on a ZX14, I did like the sound. I don't miss it on the H2SX. I probably could no longer hear it past 30 mph, anyway.
