Re: Back rest
Jazzster,
How did you mount this?
I did a 3 hour run this weekend and my wife told me she was never getting back on the Ninja again - She too is spoiled from my Valkyrie back seat. Is it easy to take off for solo riding?

Re: Back rest
I made a mount and used a Road King back rest, it's bolted to the pieces that hold the bags, simple really. She has something to lean against, stops her from sliding off the back when I get on the gas lol.......pics to follow....

Re: Back rest
There have been a few people asking about back rests here and I can only assume it's because the passenger feels like they're going to fly off the back.
My wife said she didn't feel safe on the back because she felt like she was going to fly off the back if I twitched on the throttle but she blamed it on the pillion seat. She said that It sat her too far back and she couldn't get close enough to me to hold on properly with her legs/knees. I had the rear seat redone allowing her to sit a little further forward. Since doing this she has no problem on the back of the bike and feels as comfortable on this as she used to on our old Triumph Sprint ST.
Might be worth checking the seating arrangements if your passenger is uncomfortable?
