Bike trips to Northern Spain.

We went to Northern Spain last year on the bikes, started in The Picos mountains then up through the Pyrenees. I had never been to the Picos before and was really impressed by the roads and scenery there. It goes from winding canyon roads to beautifully surfaced open sweeping bends. We stayed in Potes which had enough bars and restaurants to keep us refreshed. We then headed up though the Pyrenees via as many Cols as we could, then onto the Millau Bridge & Gorge du Tarne which offers more fantastic biking roads.
We crossed the channel back the England from St.Malo. The original plan for this trip was to spend the whole time in Spain but I just couldn't get a crossing back form Spain to UK. So the moral is to book really early on the UK/Spain ferry. I would definitely head back there
