What manufacturer makes this sprocket? And who sells it?

Re: 42 tooth rear sprocket
I bought a 42T steel sprocket (RFE795) from SuperSproxUSA. Checking their website I see it's now listed as N/A but you can submit a request for one.
Vortex make a 42T Aluminum Race sprocket (463ZK-42) for the rear. However, aluminum sprockets are generally not a good choice for street use. May be worth contacting them to see if they'll make a steel sprocket for you.

Re: 42 tooth rear sprocket
Called supersprox there is no date on when this will be available
Called vortex they have this in aluminum (7075) for $75
But I’m rather hesitant in using aluminum on this bike.
But thx for the info

Re: 42 tooth rear sprocket
I'm running the aluminum Vortex rear sprocket on mine (OEM 525 series and OEM tooth count on mine). Working just fine. It will wear out quicker yes, but it's not like it will suddenly give out. I'd really only not consider aluminum if you're a cross-country rider.
Sprockets are the same as the regular H2, so if there's a match out there for that bike, you can use that.

I think I saw an aluminum inner with steel outer ring for long life, perhaps at americanbeta

I think posting a link is ok.

I had the H2R rear sprocket on my H2. I suppose it will fit the H2SX too?

Re: 42 tooth rear sprocket
What differences in performance have you guy noticed going with the 42 tooth. I'm thinking of doing 19/42 just stop say you of the boost at hwy speed and help mpg, plus spirited accelerations stock gearing your shifting gears quickly.
I guess my question is. Anyone notice it accelerating slower, i.e. drag times slower. Technically yes it should be but the bike makes so much power does it affect it drastically.

Re: 42 tooth rear sprocket
I'm running a 19/42 combo with a Vortex rear and it's working well for me. Mpg has been improved and motorway running is much more relaxed, however, acceleration is reduced both in roll on and through the gears. That said, it's not an issue and still bloody quick! I find myself using the gears a little more when making progress but with the quickshifter, that's not a big concern.

Re: 42 tooth rear sprocket
I ran 19/42 for a short while but put the 44 back on as it was too lazy for my riding style. Very happy now.
