I love my SE, but I finally found something to gripe about.
Of all the bikes and cars I''ve owned, and all the bikes and cars I have worked on as a tech in years past, this one is arguably one of the least convenient to check and adjust tire pressures.
I doubt that extenders would be a good idea. Is it possible to "aim" them differently without dismounting the tire?
OK, enough with the gripes; off to ride.

I have wondered this too. But haven’t looked into it. My Super Moto warp 9 stiletto’s are flat like SX but are facing you if you are looking at wheel from the side. Makes tire pressure a breeze. Probably a reason ours is angled??

What's the problem with how they are? I find the angled valve stems very convenient. If you're wanting to twist them in where they mount, I don't think it would be 100% safe to spin them. They have a nut on the back-side of the valve stem inside the wheel, and if you spun it you could either loosen that nut or tear the rubber seal. Proper way would be to dismount the tire and clock them to whatever position you want.
Maybe just move them during your next tire change. Or if you have a big gauge that isn't fitting well...get a smaller gauge

Thanks kman. I suspected that twisting them would be a very bad idea. I have a gauge with a nice long hose that makes it easy to get on most valve stems, but these are just at an awkward angle -- especially the front, where you have to work around the brake rotor.
If this is the biggest beef I ever have about this bike, the SE goes in the win column, but it was bugging me yesterday when I went to check pressures.

I must admit I just gave mine a twist ... just assumed they were supposed to point to the side

They seem to be fine ...
