Peg Scrape

Post by Raddy47 » Sun May 05, 2019 12:24 am

Well today I scraped my right peg in a turn at about 70-75mph and simultaneously felt ever so slightly the ground on my knee. Scared the crap out of me since I don’t wear knee sliders. I try not to push it to far because of that. Guess I was farther over than I thought. A lighter spot now appears on right knee.

Well done on the scrape! :D What's the new "high score" on the lean angle recorder?

Only 47??? To be honest my lean angle sensors have always felt off. From the get go. But maybe it’s correct. The turn was up a gentle slope so on flat ground probably more. But that turn is the most aggressive close to me. And I went on two fifteen minute rides after finishing all the work I did. Feeling it scrape was a rush though.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the lean gauge maxes out at 47°, so it's very possible you dipped farther than that!

I hit 53 and 54. My pegs are still brand new. But my suspensions are set stiffer than stock so maybe a little bit more of ground clearance.

Good call Kwee. I was in rider mode with suspension set to normal and no damper settings adjusted. And going up hill in a turn. Definitely feels different than sport mode especially without any assists on.

When does the lean angle reset? Could be mind games but I swear I’ve seen it go back down to around 25-27 on start ups before.

If you reset all when you reset the trip that's erase everything. You have to select trip A and trip B and reset both.
