Power source for boost/afr gauge?
Power source for boost/afr gauge?
I’m working on installing a boost/afr gauge and I’m wondering what to use for a power source. Normally I would start testing wires with the voltage meter but I’m waiting for my ecu to come back from vcyclenut.

Re: Power source for boost/afr gauge?
I'm using the "3 Circuit Solution Sealed All Fuses Switched" kit from Eastern Beaver to power my AFR/Boost gauges and other accessories, the relay is connected to the switched power supply in the tail of the bike.

Re: Power source for boost/afr gauge?
I wanted to post a update here in case anyone else Is looking for a good switched power source.
After doing the vcyclenut flash the stock o2 sensor wasn’t being used anymore so it was the perfect power source. I just cut the wire off the o2 sensor and plugged it into the stock plug in under the fuel tank. I used a voltage tester to find the power wire and taped the other 3 off.
This is a very simple and clean power source if you have a flash and your o2 sensor is disabled.
