Traded my Plain H2 SX for the new H2 SX SE Plus

Post by dehaile » Thu May 02, 2019 1:13 am

Well, I tried to talk myself out of it for months but in the end I caved like man in Vegas talking to a hooker. She had the looks and the body I just could not resist! So far I only have a few miles but I am loving the new features especially the quick shifter. My SX was flashed by VcycleNut. It will be interesting to see how the computer changes with the Electronic suspension integration with power modes. On my SX, I could just press between F, M, L power and on this new (plus) with esa, I am not sure how it will work. Maybe VcycleNut will chime in and say...... hint hint.. I took a beating on the trade but my dealer in Plano, TX is great and did give me a very fair offer.

Cheers! :cheer:

That is why I am avoiding the dealerships. The color scheme on the 2019 appeals to me more than the 2018. Does it or does it not have a steering damper?

You can only cycle through power modes when riding with a flash.

Pretty sure thats all sx models.

Stock you cannot just change power mode while riding. Must have flash for this feature. It’s literally on vcyclenut website in the description.

Also if you’re in Plano, I’m in Euless. Let me know when you want to ride hombre. Same year bike from grapevine powersports.
My flash from vcyclenut is on its way back to me as of today.

I'm Azle, NW of Ft. Worth. Ditto on Arkansas, I go at least once a year and twice to trhe Texas Hill Country. Would love to get together with other H2 riders.

What do you think is the best upgrade from the SX to the SX SE+ ? ... I bet it's the electronic suspension.

The ESA is very nice and the ride is much better coming from my SX base. I notice the QS more than anything. The brakes are also much better with the SS lines (SX base did not have) and the new Brembo brakes. I did not think they would be much different but they are.

Cool. My ECU is supposed to be here by tomorrow night. And I’m picking my spacers up tomorrow around 11. Fingers crossed one they fit and two I don’t accidentally break them into two.
