Got hit by car Hit-Air vest protected me

Hello all, back on November 7th 2018 I was out riding my H2 when a 70 year old woman travelling in the opposite direction made a left turn in front of me and we collided head on. I wound up on the hood of her car caving in the hood around the engine. I was wearing my Hit-Air vest which save me from any neck or torso trauma. I did sustain a very badly broken left wrist and unfortunately removed the Kawi's windscreen with my nuts so that wasn't fun either. The responding EMTs and ER staff were amazed that I had no internal injuries or even bruises and were taking pictures of and asking about the vest. So I highly recommend these vests and doubt that I would get on a bike again without wearing one.

My H2 was totaled due to Tupperware and front end damage and a slight stress crack in the frame. I replaced the bike and just started riding again and have about 250 miles on the new H2.

I now have the engine and other parts for sale which I will post in the marketplace before I start putting things on eBay. The engine only has 2433 miles and no road rash as the saddlebag protected it. I also made a video of the engine running before I started taking the bike apart and will post the video link in the ad.

Bottom line that vest was the best $489 I ever spent. Ride safe all.

Yeah, I thought it was easy to see the engine was posted. I have the undamaged exhaust header, a muffler with a slight scuff on the black heat guard. If anyone is looking for something in particular, let me know.

I just got the Merlin backpack airbag. Nice comfortable design. Now I just have to remember to wear it. Glad your mostly alright.
