I’m not to impressed with the seat on this bike and I’m considering trying the oem comfort seat or maybe the low seat. I can flat foot the bike no problem so I don’t need the low seat but my thought was maybe it would improve the riding position a little bit. I feel like the seat is angled wrong so I’m just not sure if the low seat might make that even worse.
Just curious if anyone has tried either of these seats or has any input that could help with this problem.
Has anyone tried the oem comfort seat?

I think the comfort seat is the standard SE seat. See this thread:

I upgraded to the Sargent and had them add 1" rise to the nose, but I'm thinking I should have had them add more.
Edit: To get closer to the question you're asking, I seriously doubt any of the Kawi seats for this bike would be comfortable.

The comfort seat I was referring to is the one for taller riders. That Sargent seat is tempting... I just don’t want to be out of a bike for a month while I wait for my seat.

Re: Has anyone tried the oem comfort seat?
It's my understanding the comfort seat is standard on the SXSE. I bought my SXSE a month ago but have only had it on one 150 mile ride and after an hour or so in the saddle the seat was killing me. I'm going to give the seat a little time to break-in but may have to look at other options. I had a speed metal gel pad on my ZX14R and it provided a bit more comfort for under a 100 bucks. Some folks swear by the air hawk seat pads but I think the gel pad provides better comfort

Re: Has anyone tried the oem comfort seat?
i bought a "AIR HAWK" inflatable seat cover from amazon.
i can now ride the bike for reasonable distances.
it aint perfect as i tend to feel like i am floating a bit but it is a lot more comfortable than the stock seat.

So far I have not used my Air Hawk on my SE, but I put over 40,000 miles on it on my BMW. In case you haven't come across this tip... if it feels "floaty" then you may have too much air in it. Proper inflation involves just enough air to fill in where the stock seat doesn't go.robb wrote: Sun May 12, 2019 1:03 pm i bought a "AIR HAWK" inflatable seat cover from amazon.

Best way to achieve this is blow it up with a bunch of air, sit on it, and open the valve until your butt just barely contacts the stock seat. Just as in sailing, "When in doubt, let it out."
