I have the Dunlop Roadsmart III's on my 14R and I love them. Very similar feel to the Q3's but a touring tire, they handle great.Switch18 wrote: Thu Apr 18, 2019 8:34 pm Has anybody tried Dunlop Sportsmarts.....always liked them on my other litre bikes

The Q3 + seems like the tires you are looking for, great street and track day tire like the original Q's but with more mileage capabilities.Jkwan0902 wrote: Fri Apr 12, 2019 3:10 pm I apologize if this topic has been beat to death but a search through the forums didn’t really answer some of my more detailed questions.
Can anybody suggest a tire that’s good for road and track that has a decent tread life?? I’m not going to be going to the track all the time and maybe 75% of the time I’ll be on the road. I know I know... it’s not build a tire workshop here. But maybe somebody has the same idea as me?? Any info would be appreciated.
I have a pair in my basement, just waiting for the stock tires to be done.

Re: What kind of tires??
I have a RoadSmart 3 on the rear and a SportSmart 3 on the front.
Rear RoadSmart 3 was fitted at 3818 miles and the tyre has done 6100 miles since and is only 2/3rd worn and that includes a few road thrashings (have photos if wanted).
Front SportSmart 3 was fitted at 5369 miles and done 4550 miles since and I reckon is only half worn.
Both handle really well (have had up to 55 degrees on a good surface before they worry the TC). The steering feels heavier than a new H2 SX on new OEM tyres I rode this week but that may be because of the profile wear. I recommend them and use them on my supermoto too.
