What kind of tires??
I apologize if this topic has been beat to death but a search through the forums didn’t really answer some of my more detailed questions.
Can anybody suggest a tire that’s good for road and track that has a decent tread life?? I’m not going to be going to the track all the time and maybe 75% of the time I’ll be on the road. I know I know... it’s not build a tire workshop here. But maybe somebody has the same idea as me?? Any info would be appreciated.

The 2nd set of s21s I put on did pretty good on the track with minimal slippage when I really tried to spin it. I'm running Michelin PR5s now

Re: What kind of tires??
I'm currently 3k miles into a set of the Angel's cousin, the Metzler z8. They've been excellent, and they're looking pretty good. I got 4500 miles out of a set of Road 5s preceding the z8s. The front was worn pretty much on the wearbars, and the rear was pretty much there. MO and AR roads are hard on tires, and so am I, lolN4speed wrote: Fri Apr 12, 2019 10:55 pm Pirelli angel gt last as long as the michelin pilot roads with better grip and feedback

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

I have have logged lots of miles with the PR5’s and they wear really well but might try the road angel gt 2’s next time.

Re: What kind of tires??
I'm in the market for tires too. I've done 6000km on the stock S21 and now looking for a replacement set. I was told that the Angle GT and the PR5 are great for touring but won't give the grip the hypersport will provide -but will last longer. I was suggested to use the Michelin pilot power 2CT as a good tire with longer life than the hypersport and with very good grip for track days here and there. Any thoughts experience with these tires?

Re: What kind of tires??
I had the Pilot Road 4 on my K1300s and put about 7000 hard km on them with minimum ware before i was side swiped and the bike was written off. They handled very well at speed in the rain and dry.
