Side stand enlarger?
I have not been able to find a model-specific aftermarket "foot" for the SE side stand. Does anyone know what fits?
Thanks,

Re: Side stand enlarger?
Thank you -- this is useful info. But looking at it on Amazon or FleaBay (US versions) my choices would be to wait a month and a half for free shipping or pay $48 (US) to get it here in a week from China -- all this for an $11 item. Anybody closer than China got a used one they don't want?

Re: Side stand enlarger?
I haven't been able to track one down in North America either but took a chance and ordered a Ninja 1000 kick stand foot enlarger to see if that fits. I will post the results and return it if it doesn't fit.
This kick stand foot is embarrassingly small for such a beast of a bike

Forget the foot, the side peg to swing it down is tiny/sucked in and sucks when wearing any kind of serious boots.

Re: Side stand enlarger?
Thanks! I just ordered one from Twisted Throttle. They are expen$ive as all get-out, but then so are the pieces that would get damaged if my SE tipped over.Switch18 wrote: Thu Apr 11, 2019 7:49 pm I use this one

Re: Side stand enlarger?
A quick follow-up to the R&G side stand enlarger. I installed it with the recommended foam pad to prevent it from rattling and I have to say that the resulting angle of the bike relative to the ground made me very nervous. It makes the bike sit up too straight for best stability. Uneven pavement or a strong gust of wind could easily make it "high side."
So I ditched the pad and used a Dremel to remove some material from the inside oval well. It doesn't take much to change the resulting angle and I got enough improvement that I will continue to use the enlarger, but with my fingers crossed and with careful selection of what surface to park on and attention to maximizing the angle to avoid the bike tipping over. I do not hear the rattling when underway.

Re: Side stand enlarger?
I'm pretty sure someone on Facebook abs maybe this forum had one in their SX SE and it caused it to tip over in a gust of wind while he was at work.
