My SE is ready for pickup at the dealer, BUT...
The luggage got damaged in transit. Way to $$#@# go UPS.
I plan to pick it up tomorrow anyway so I can get through the painful 4000 RPM jail time ASAP. At least the dealer agreed to order new bags right away instead of waiting for Kawi and UPS to battle it out over who eats the damage.
Still, mighty frustrating.

That stinks. I rarely have probs with UPS myself. Get on it and ride. That'll help you adjust. I waited months for my bags because Kawi didn't produce enough color panels.

My first set of bags were damaged in transit also. Took a hit hard enough to break the attachment points off the bag. The dealer sent them back and got a new set.

Aaron,
Wow. Like Burma, I've always had good luck with UPS, until now. Seems they have it in for Kawi bags. But according to the dealer, Kawi packs them in very flimsy, thin padding.
So I'll pick the bike up mid-day tomorrow (and freeze my a** off) and go back in a few days for the bags. No biggie -- I need to rack up miles -- but irritating.

Bummer.
Hopefully you ordered the One Key locks too. The bags do not come with locks included. Make sure to get the dealer to set up your One Key locks. They will need a key to program the lock. My dealer did them for free and had done so many of the locks for other side bags they were pretty quick at it.

Same here. I usually ride without the bags anyway.

I did the One Key kits myself. No problem. Really easy. Both bags and the helmet lock. But if the dealer will do them for free, have them do it!
