Roll off
Roll off
So the first thing I noticed about my bike when I got it that I didn’t like was the amount of dive when rolling off the throttle.
I’m talking small amount of backing off feels like 100% and it’s a big dive. Jerk you forward. Almost feels like a bad tune. Though this is not the case because everything is bone stock on my bike. I thought it would go away after break in. I’m pushing 750miles now and it’s clear now that this is just the nature of the beast.
I’m posting this to see if anyone else experiences this. I have not yet tried engaging in the light engine brake function. Maybe his will help control the dive on a roll off?

Re: Roll off
Given that is what it is there for.... yes changing it to light engine braking will change that a bit. It has other consequences though but I'm forgetting. (think some said it will idle higher or something else)

Re: Roll off
The forks are just soft for aggressive maneuvers. I added some compression dampening (~2 clicks more than stock) on the forks to mine to try and address this. It could probably use a little more fork oil as well, but I haven't been bold enough yet to disassemble the forks. I think after a year when I got to service them, I'll be raising the fork oil level about 10mm.
That said, if you've overweight for the springs, it could also plain be you need stiffer springs in the forks.

Re: Roll off
I’ll give this a shot. May be awhile. Waiting on exhaust to come in. Bike is all apart right now

Re: Roll off
No but as soon as woolich has the image available o will be able to.
Nothing has changed on the bike that would require different tuning then the 18 model. So I’ll be able to use all my data from them.
If you want to get yours flashed we could use your Ecu to send the image to woolich and you would get a discount on the flash.

Re: Roll off
If nothing has changed 2018-19 why are they so quiet on the over run, no chirp or whoosh noise at all compared to 2018 ?
