Hi there.
i've been riding bikes since 1980. my last fast bike was a 2001 zx12r. currently riding a honda transalp that i am gifting to my son when he gets his bike liscence next year.
right now no rush to get myself a h2 sx-se but if one comes along at the right price i may be tempted. we only have about 6 weeks left of riding time here in sweden before the winter shut down,
found this mint looking one for sale here.

price is a bit high so thinking of offering him 150k krona or waiting untill april..it's a 2019 sx-se with 6000 miles and full service history with some nice extras. just wondering about the big service costs on these bikes..valve adjustments ect. also how the fork seals hold up. my zx12r used to eat through them about every 2 years..one other thing is the se that much better? they all have cruise control right?
shall i buy now if he discounts a lot or wait untill april?
cheers Rudolph Hucker

Welcome to our forum Rudolph. We're a small group, but we try to post useful, interesting or entertaining information about the great bikes we ride. You'll find lot of useful information has been posted here over the years.
The Mods & Maintenance forum contains a lot of useful topics. We also have a Fast & Far forum to share stories about rides, road trips and destinations.
If you haven't seen it already, please check out the Useful H2SX Forum Resources/Rules/Help/Links post. There's a sticky link at the top of each forum page and a H2SX Resources link in the navbar at the top of each page.
Valve check by a dealer can be expensive. The process isn't much different to many modern bikes so the cost will be similar. Cheaper than a Ducati though!
If you are OK doing your own maintenance, then valve check isn't difficult. Our H2SX Forum Resources includes a Guide to Valve Check and Adjustment. Even if you don't want to do your own valve checking and adjustment, the guide will show you why your dealer wants so much money to check the valves - and more to adjust them.
I haven't heard about any issues with fork seals. Some of us have changed them, but that's just regular maintenance as our bikes get older. Our site resources links also include a guide for changing Fork Oil, Seals and Bushings.
Yes, all models have cruise control. Additions for the SE model include Cornering Lights, TFT Color Display, Larger Windscreen, Launch Control, Quick Shifter, Heated Grips and a Centerstand. For me, the quickshifter and TFT display make the SE a better choice.
The bike you showed above looks like a 2018 model not 2019. The paint colors and Nissin brake calipers are the most obvious signs. The 2019 became the SE+ with KECS (Kawasaki Electronically Controlled Suspension). I don't see that in the photos of that bike.
Enjoy the ride.

As far as I know all bikes have cruise control, but not adaptive cruise control only 2022-26 SX SE models have adaptive cruise control. I could be wrong. But after having my 2025 se going from standerd cruise to adaptive for me is a strong selling point. Mine works flawlessly. aloung with other electronics you mentioned, which I agree much better choice
