will other stock sprockets fit our bike?

Post by vcyclenut » Fri Aug 31, 2018 12:33 pm

any one know if other stock sprockets that will fit our bike?

Im thinking after I install the full exhaust going taller with my gearing. So would be looking for a rear sprocket 2-3 tooth smaller then ours.

Sorry ive have done zero research on this but was hoping someone else would know.

The H2R sprocket fits the H2. Maybe the SX too?

All 3 H2 models share the same sprocket pitch (525) and will fit

Our bike and the standard h2 come with 18/44 gearing the H2r has 18/42

I ordered stock replacement sprockets of 19/42,

depending on how this feels I will start carrying them on my website

The most common upgrade for most bikes seems to be -1,+2. Which you lose top speed but gain acceleration. What is the benefit of +1,+1 that you are looking for?

18/44 for the H2 and the H2 SX. Not 18/41.

If you really bought 19/42 the gears gonna be infinite.

sorry mistyped the stock gearing thanks for correcting, I edited my post

yep that's what I really got, I wanted 200 mph at the stock redline

19/42 will do it

yes I went exactly opposite of most people, +1, -2, I think most people gear their bikes waay to low

I wanted more top end without having to run it over the stock redline

I should have somewhere around 240 hp when im done, the bike should have plenty of nuts to carry the extra gear, I just will be able to hang on to each gear a lot longer then most people and besides first gear which you can not go full throttle in anyway without the aid of nannies I wont be at a gearing disadvantage

Check out stuff for the H2SX on Extreme Creations.
They have pretty unique H2 parts.

I bought my BOV from them.
