Not a concern. I believe the ECU for the H2 damper is an Öhlins component that is part of the steering damper package. There is no communication between that and the main ECU. In theory, the H2 ESD could be transferred to the H2 SX - if you had space and could fabricate suitable mountings. The only connections you need are power and ground.
Would that have any advantage over a manual damper? Who knows? Kawasaki probably know the answer - and they don't think it needs a steering damper at all.
