What boost release psi are you all triggering your bov's?
I’m still working on testing the bov on the h2 SX. Has a 6psi spring right now which works okay but it has some problem areas.
Bryan468, I'm missing something about a BOV and the H2 bikes. I though I read somewhere that the SC is putting in about 20 PSI.

If you are testing at 6 PSI, then I must have misunderstood/misread the 20 PSI thing.
In the blow off valves there is a spring that keeps the valve closed. How much boost at vacuum will determine what spring you need. They are rated in psi as a spring rate. . . . to stiff one which caused surge during partial throttle at 4:37

Fun info. On my 14 I ran the BOV at 7 PSI.

Anyone know what the H2SX SE is running?

With my mods I’m getting a max of 17 psi.

Which gauges are you using to measure the boost? I am using a supposed high-quality digital gauge and it's giving me a 21+ psi reading at 13200

VEI dual display gauge that has been calibrated. I have also confirmed this with vcyclenut. Top # on the gauge is boost.

Where are you taking your boost reading from?

So Bryan468, where are you with your experimenting now?

Well I have tested a ton of different configurations with the stock bov and the tial and I think I have a setup that will work with the tune I have now.

I was headed to go test it when the plugs fouled out so I don’t know if it will work yet. I just received one set of plugs I ordered yesterday so I may get it put back together today however now it shows rain for the rest of the week.

I ordered a couple different kinds of plugs to see if I can find us some more options.

Do you have your tial to vta? If so that could be why you fouled the plugs. Its needs to recirculate back to the intake

Ok. Did you come to a determination on the stock SX PSI range/max range, and what are your observations on comparing the stock and tial BOV, strenghts/weaknesses? If you are going to use one as primary vs the other, how'd you come to that decision?

I think most people will find that it’s just too much messing around to make this bov work on this bike. I don’t think there are any advantages to running the tial over stock.

It just has a different sound which I personally like better than the stock bov. There are plenty of disadvantages to running the tial if it isn’t set up correctly though and I’ll talk more about that when I’m done testing everything.

I plan to make a video that will show the difference between the two bovs and some of the problems you will have with different configurations.
