I don’t know what Kawasaki UK”s problem is. Just got my tank replaced. I asked the dealer how hard of a time they had and they said it took 1 phone call and emailing some pictures. Took 1 day to get approval.

Still waiting on response on my second tank. Shouldn't be an issue

Had a weeks holiday and ordered a new bagster tank cover direct from bagster , came in 12 days , very quick, the bag fits great although it is a slightly lighter shade of green it does change colour in different light , looks the part , I now have my bagster tank bag on, makes it much easier for me putting all my goodies into the bag rather than clogging my pockets. the first bag I had ordered from a local distributor came faulty ,the long straps were stitched to the back of the bag rather than the front , got my refund ,and it was cheaper through bagster ,happy days

Just 3M your bike..........yeah it may take you half your weekend, but its a "cheap to buy" solution for rock chips. I just did the entire front of my bike using a kit called Rockfall paint protection off of eBay. I've worked with a lot of vinyl and 3M'd previous bikes, but that involved taking a piece of paper, laying it on the bike, using a pencil to trace a shape, then transferring it to the clear 3M vinyl. You can get the big pieces done fairly easily but the small pieces are tedious.

The Rockfall kit was high quality, and had 50 individual pieces and cost all of $50. It took me 8 hours over 2 days to apply it (I'm super particular). If I were to do it again, I may just take the bike to a car wrap specialist and say "you do it" because skill and experience makes a big difference in the finished product

I don't think the mark on my tank was caused through a stone chip as we have been discussing for a while . the bagster tank cover is something I prefer to have on my bikes , I attach my bagster bag to carry mini compressor , tyre repair kit , cables . fuses . ect , keeps my pockets clear , and I know were everything is

I've been denied by regional manager and now I'm going to call customer escalations. First tank their saying was a coutesy and that they have no known defects. I didn't cause this and will continue the fight.
