ZX10R Header with Yoshimura 3/4 system

Post by Snakes709 » Fri Mar 15, 2019 7:30 pm

So after 16 weeks of straight bullshit I finally got the midpipe from another source and it fits perfect. 2011-15 ZX10R header with the 2016+ ZX10R Yoshimura Alpha 3/4 system. It fits perfectly fine with the centre stand. No clue if it will fit with the bags.

I wonder what the difference is in the Yosh slip-on and mid pipe are from your ZX10 Yosh 3/4 system? The 10 3/4 system replaces the cat on a ZX10 but the Yosh slip-on for the H2SX is different since it doesn't replace the cat. I suppose I will eventually find out if the H2 slip-on can be mated with a ZX10 header, might have to have a mid-pie fabricated unless the one Vcyclenut had made would work on the Yosh? Great job Snake, looks and sounds awesome dude!

The can is the exact same (assuming you buy the alpha). My can was a 2011+ zx10r slip on i bought on black friday sale. Purchased the mid pipe seperately. You can however buy the system all together.

If the cans are the same than I would need the same "S" section mid-pipe from a 3/4 Yosh Alpha system for a 20011 ZX10R. My Yosh exhaust is the Alpha carbon fiber like yours but the "S" section mid-pipe that attaches mine to the H2SX header with the cat would be different that your mid pipe. That's doable. Did you order your mid-pipe direct from Yoshimura?

No, you cant order it directly from them. I placed the order through the dealership who orders it from another source who orders it from yoshimura. Was suppose to take 3 weeks but after 15 weeks i said fuck it, asked for my money back and talked to kevin at bayside performance in vancouver who said he can get it im 3-5 days. Ordered it last week (wed) and it showes up today. $246 shipped cdn

Slowly. Still to much snow melting and sand on the road. Lost our first rider of the season the other day. Unconfirmed reports say it was road rage and the suv cut the rider off and slammed on his brakes causing the rider to rear end him and killing him. Driver even admitted to intentionally doing it because he hates motorcycle riders. So it will be a few more weeks until i take the bike out.
