Looking for a little advise...
I installed the Motogadget MO.Blaze Pin turn signal lights and now it seems like I have the engine light shining in my dash.
Full disclosure as well, I also installed (replaced) my 12V socket with a USB socket.
All I did was attached the new lights to the old wires but with them both being LED lights, I thought it would be okay. There was no resistor that came with the lights and the lights including the flashing work amazingly.
Could this be the cause of the engine light???
From their website:
Power consumption: about 3 Watt
Thanks,
Do I need a resistor??

Re: Do I need a resistor??
Update... I wanted to delete this post but I thought it would be a good thing to keep people posted... after a good long ride today with a few stops, check engine light has turned off and has not come back on. These Gotogadget pin lights are amazingly bright.
