Ordered up a basic front lighting system kit from https://www.skenelights.com/ for $129.
One of my riding buddies had them on his bike and they make you much more visible, and have a unique flicker feature when you look at them from an angle (imagine a left turner looking at you as you approach). Inexpensive, bright AF, and tiny.
I reckon the American idea of having the indicators on permanently as running lights is a great idea. Especially at night it delineates you from the car behind.
Although not necessary on this bike due to the LED headlight, the other mod I've always done is to change the bulbs to a bright white or blue. At first I just did it cos it looked pretty but I soon noticed I was more visible at night because the headlight did not blend in with the line of traffic behind me. Simple, cheap and effective
