Dammmnnnn. Makes the bike look more like a sport bike then a sport tourer.
I like my bike looking like a sport-tourer. Young guys think it's some slow, old man's tourer, and cops ignore me. I've literally flown by cops on side roads who have done nothing. Hardbags are a great deterrent.

Yea good point. I had a coupke guys talk down to me saying “oh, thats not a real h2, thats that slow one” and then they find out real quick how slow it is lol. Fucking destroyed a guy with a busa that said his bike would smoke my sport tourer. I dont have hard cases so i dont have that deterrent fromt cops, but I do have veteran plates which usually helps me out.

That green really looks good, I like it better than the black.

I have one bit of advice to pass along. I got the paint from Color Rite. I've gotten paint from them before and knew I'd be paying a lot, but the thing is, Color Rite insists that you buy their primer and clear because "it's formulated to work perfectly with our paints." Well, my paint guy said that their primer and clear were utter crap. The clear caused problems with the paint, so he repainted and then clear coated it with the clear he uses. If you have to get paint from Color Rite, give the rest of their products a miss.
Thanks for the heads up. I got a rattle can set from Color Rite including primer, base, color and clear. I will follow the CR recommendation to paint a test panel and see what I get.

UFO, are you keeping the rear seat in place with the cowl on, or jetting it and using the extra space underneath? Seems a good place for a bit extra storage if that rear seat is jetted, even if it meant somehow 'supporting' the cowl with an under-frame, or the like.

The cowl uses the rear seat to secure. It's mounted with folding tabs that wrap around the bottom of the rear seat.

I generally use rs paints for paint in the uk , just mailed them to see of they can do the primer and the green paint ,I use my own clear laquer , always had a perfect match from rs , power bronze are showing four cowls left in stock at £85.00 each.

had a reply from rs paints apparently there are 4 different paints to make up the colour , a primer a colour the golden blaze and then the laquer , I odnt bother with there laquer , but would still need the other three works out at around £70 for the aeroslos , and around £90 for the ready mixed paint to spray straight from the gun, starts to get expensive !! could maybe buy the powerbronze cowl in gloss black ???
