yes, off is an actual setting. You can set the heated grips to being off, otherwise they would alwyas be on and there would only be 3 settings, low, med, high

I've done all the settings and even on high without gloves I can barely feel the heat. Do you know there are 4 heat setting for the grips? tbh, a lot of people dont, just asking, not trying to be a jerk.
1 - low, one light blink = infrequent current pulses
2 - med, two light blink = intermediate current pulses
3 - high, three light blink = frequent current pulses
