Opinions on 2-up
Re: Opinions on 2-up
My wife is 5'6" and she actually finds it better than the concours I traded. Part of it is the SE is so much smoother (her comment).

Re: Opinions on 2-up
Funnily enough, the price they had was better than the States, depending on exchange rate. Anyway, I got on, and then she did as she’s always done, foot on left peg, a little jump, and swing over the right foot. It was a little trickier since this bike had the hard bags on it. I felt better though, as the bike is lower and narrower than the ZZR, so I was fully flat footed. She did comment on being able to see over me more than the ZZR, which made me think of the possibility for more wind buffering (?). Anyway, that is one duck in the row:). The main remaining one is the cost of admission.

There's a LOT of wind roar and head buffeting for the pillion but only tiresome on motorway rides. Not really an issue on other roads.
My wife always wears ear plugs.
Nonetheless, the sx is much easier to manoeuvre and position at all speeds with a pillion compared to the zzr.

Re: Opinions on 2-up
I took her for a short ride to get initial impressions. It did seem a little more unsettled than the ZZR at low speeds, but that could be just me being a little nervous and out of practice. She did say the seat felt hard, she didn’t hate it, but there will be a replacement needed. What have you guys done to take tender care of your SO’s bum?

I sit on the bike with feet on the ground ... my wife (5" even) uses the left rider foot peg as a step up. Works a treat
