see alot of you guys have the panniers, did they come with the bike when you purchased? Or was it the additional $800...Also any gents have an aftermarket pipe with said panniers? Is there an issue with burning them from the pipe? Brocks pipe on mine and they stated I'd would need to buy a protection plate of sorts to protect the panniers from pipe? Thanks

Bought mine after, from the Netherlands. They were hundreds of dollars cheaper and didn't have the ugly side reflector (US version has one).

I also have Brock's full Penta system, and no, you don't need the heat shield for that...at all. If you get the slashcut H2 one, or something, yea they might melt the bags/need a shield.

I got the panniers thrown in as part of the deal when I bought the bike. At that time (beginning of 2018) good discounts were hard to find on the not yet released model, but I was able to negotiate the panniers as a no cost option.

Depends on the pipe. Some do not work with bags. Probably more to do with the mid pipe and the silencer mounting. I have the Lextek silencer that vcyclenut sells as part of his ZX10R full system. He sells an auxiliary bracket to use with bags but I got a better result by cutting about ½" (1.5 cm) off the midpipe. No issues with that pipe, but I did add some heat protection tape, just to be sure.

This is where I got mine.

There was a small discount at the time, so mine ended up being $507 USD, shipped.

None of the H2SXSE came with panniers from the factory you had to purchase them separately and they're not cheap running close to 1200+ dollars if you get the panniers, panels, stripe, and matching locks for the key.

Has anyone inquired about getting one from a dealer yet? I am being told they will be very limiteded production.
Im going to get one as they upgraded all the things the bike was missing.
