Our ABS and speed sensors are the “old” magnetic/analog type and don’t work in reverse or at low speeds. That’s why our ABS light remains lit until you get underway and the ecu sees movement.

The speedo reads from the rear ABS/ speed sensor and its accuracy is limited at low speeds. More modern/car based sensors are digital types that not only work in reverse they also register low speeds very accurately.
