I have the Abba Superbike stand, and am pretty happy with it. Looking closely at the pics, I see that you got the rear bobbin fitting. When I ordered my fitting kit, no rear bobbin was included. Did your bobbin come with the fitting kit?

I'm thinking about upgrading to the Sky Lift, but I have one concern. Levering the bike up by the swingarm puts a huge amount of downward force on the swingarm. The swingarm on a sport bike is obviously strong, but are the swingarm fittings on the bike designed to withstand that amount of hyper-extension stress?

Everything came in one box in lots of packages, including the two swingarm fittings and the swingarm bobbin, but I can't remember if they came in the same bag or not.

I would contact abba, they were very helpful and responsive over the months I waited for them to finish the kit.

The while on the stand the swingarm is seeing less than 50% of the bike weight (bike weight is biased in front of the swingarm pivot point). While riding the swingarm (and pivot point) is seeing

[(.5 x bike weight) + (.5 x rider and luggage weight)] x dynamic accel factor due to hitting bumps, heaves, cornering, etc.

I am not at all concerned about the swingarm (in tension or compression) seeing <50% of the bike weight in a static situation only (bike never moves on the stand, rider never sits on the stand).

Thanks. I had a feeling I over concerned. I just wanted confirmation. :-)
