they are cheap looking and quite heavy on weight.

I have the tall shield in solid black. I think it looks quite good on the bike is appears to be of the same quality as any other screen I have installed on a dozen or so bikes I've owned over the years; National Cycle, MRA, Zero Gravity, Puig... I would agree it may be heavier, it is thicker than some of the others I've had. For me, that means better protection from rocks when I ride in a group. I've had a thinner shield shatter on impact, I don't believe this one would. I don't believe it looks cheap at all. I've ordered the headlight and cornering light covers, I assume they will be thinner, we'll see.

Anybody know how the front fender extender mounts? Seriously considering one after riding in the rain today. That front tire threw up all kinds of mess.

I don't know but my best guess is two or more holes to drill in original fender and two or more rivets to attach the extension. But you knew that. I might get one, for this bike though we don't have much rain here.

The instructions have you drill 3 holes and use the supplied plastic rivets. You could choose instead to use 3M double sided tape if so desired. I used 4 metal rivets. I have fender extenders on three of my 4 bikes, the Powerbronze has the best quality but it was double the cost. The only maker I've seen with one so far though.

Thanks. I’ve never had a fender extender on any bike but the first time I rode this one in the rain the front tire threw all kind of mess up onto the forks and inside the upper fairing.
