Went out yesterday and did my first top speed run.I have the Brock's flash and tune(guhl flash).Motor stock except for the Sprint PO 85.I also have the Zero Gravity touring screen on there. And no grab rails.
Wound her up to 13.5 at least, but may have had a thousand more rpms available. Not sure. They were supposed to raise the limiter. Not sure they actually did that.It stopped climbing at 189 indicated.Kinda disappointed.I thought Guhl would enable the dash to continue to climb. He did that on my 2015 H2.He said the speedo actually had a built in(programmed)limiter to it.So IDK.I sent a message to em,now waiting on answers.
With that screen on there,it was definitely smoother tucked in.Bike didn't feel stressed really. Not like my others I had..Stock gearing.91 octane pump gas. This bike should do 200 I would think.189 aint okay for what I had done with it.
One thing I did notice. The flies did not close down at that 13 something read.So I know they set those to stay open.It should have been hitting at least 14K rpms. They were supposed to set it at the H2R level.(14,5).So we'll see what they say.My 2015 H2 hit 201.That was at stock gearing and Guhl flash. :bash:

Sorry to be the one to tell you but with your mods you won't be close to 200. These things are bricks in the wind. See what it took for David to hit 203mph. Lots of aero improvements and a intercooler to keep the intake temps down so the ecu doesn't pull timing etc. and the fact that the stock speedo is optimistic by at least 7mph on top. 200 on these bikes aint easy. See where I ended with GPS verified speed.

Thanks for that.I don't plan on doing anymore top end runs. For me there's really no point in it.Bike runs great at 150,170.For those short wake up blasts.80-90 cruise is totally good for me.Even 65 at times.Hard to beat 47 mpg(and even more usually).Just enjoying things.
If I ride carefully I can get into the 50mpg range.Without feeling disappointed. This bike just rocks.

I got an email back from them.He said 'I'll call you later today cause it may be easier to explain over the phone'.I have to say,in my e-mail to em I was specific about what I observed and even videod it.It did not climb to 14 anything. He really didn't give me any real solid answers in his return mail.Kinda hard to understand why he couldn't actually tell me particulars about the flash.
One of his comments was 'we don't really do an ECU flash in particular,we just optimize the fueling and such'.I mean,Their site says they raise the limiter and several other ECU tweaks.I asked if they disabled the exhaust servo...He never even mentioned that. But the site says they do...so IDK what they actually charged me for.I won't mention the site. But it's world known.I know on my 2015,they disabled the speedometer limit(H2) so it would read as fast as the bike was moving. He said 'this isn't the same as the H2'...hell,IDK.
Another comment he made in the first e-mail was 'we have the information about what we do on our site for the H2SXSE+'.I mean,c'mon.I KNOW they do.That's why I bought it.But my results aren't matching with their parameters. Why not just say..'yeah,we did disable the servo, and enabled the revs and throttlebodies to match our features'.Pretty simple to me.Why not just answer the questions?

If the tach is optimistic at the higher end, then it may not have even been reaching 13.5.Who knows. It was showing 13.5.I didn't pay for a stock ecu.

Okay...rant over..thanks again Turbo for your knowledge...have an awesome day;)

Well I talked to them yesterday on their chat page.He explained everything to me about the aeros and such and how to get mine to hit those top end speeds.Very good conversation.I'm not planning on doing anymore top end runs really.I don't need to.Bike runs great.Everything is right with the flash and tune.Installed the Powerbronze tail tidy.Lookin good.No problems. So pretty much I'm done doing anything else to my beastie.Just gonna have fun with her and enjoy the rides.Great mileage.Nice to not have to fill up at 120 miles.
Thanks again Turbobob.Your explaination about hitting 200 and such was right on.
Maybe I should install my H2R wings on there..?

Didn't think so!lol.

It's normal for a bike to struggle at the top of its speed range. Not exactly sure what you're asking though. But if you look at a flashed bike with a rev bumps dyno chart you'll see that the power is still climbing. So it's not necessarily accelerating slower because of the bikes ability to get air in and out limiting the power. The theoretical top speed with stock gearing and +500rpms is over 200mph. So it's not at the end of the gearing. vcyclenut has gone with taller gearing and actually gotten a slower top speed then he did with stock gearing. I think around the 190mph mark the h2 sx se is reaching its aerodynamic limit. After doing a top end run the rear tire looks pretty torn up.
Anyone know what happened to Cooter? He was one of the most active members and just sort of vanished 2 years ago now.

Yes, I wondered what happened to cOoTeR. He was a prominent poster from the beginning then, as you said, just suddenly stopped posting.

ProfJ was another I was curious about. He was a frequent poster then suddenly stopped.

I don't know if those guys post elsewhere, but no one responded to UFO's question so maybe not. I hope they're both OK.

Just had my 2021 H2 SE SX + pre Dyno'd before a full system goes on., it came out at 173hp at rear wheel..Brocks Penta Carbon, Sprint P08, F1-85, ECU Stage 1 with Fuel Tune.....I seen a Video where Brock pushed 260hp to the Rear wheel, same bike but not sure of year, i think its PRE- DYNO was 168hp.....SO VERY excited to get the bike back .....anyone else with a 2021 H2 SE SX + with ECU flash?

Also looks like recall on the Supercharger pressure relief valve for the 2021, anyone have that work done? Thanks y'all ride safe and drive it like ya stole it!!!
