Should I or shouldn’t I?

Post by g0fwk » Sun Oct 10, 2021 8:42 pm

Hi all

I’m currently running a Ducati Supersport and am considering either a H2 SX or a KTM Super Adventure as my next bike.

Part of the need for a change is the fact I can only ride the Duc for around an hour due to the riding position causing pain in my right arm due to a previous injury.
I’ve ridden the KTM and also a GS and had no riding issues after 3 hours or so.

I’ve not ridden the H2 yet but sitting on it although the riding position seems similar to the Duc it seems to have more space and less of a stretch to the bars.

Anybody had the Supersport to give a comparison?

TIA

You really need to ride the H2 SX. I can't say how it compares with the Ducati Supersport, but the stock H2 SX riding position can put a strain on your arms.

My bars are stock, but plenty of others have felt the need to fit risers or alternative bars. Of course those options are available to you too, but you don't want the disappointment of getting the bike then finding out you can't get it how you want it to be.

It's amazing how fast you can go when you take your time.
