But in answer to your question google the road highway 191 from Morenci to alpine. 422 turns in 90 miles. The loop thru New Mexico back down to Staford is fun on the way down the hill.

One of my favorite roads - also called the Coronado Trail. AZ/NM 78 is a pretty cool road too. And if you really want some twisties head over to Silver City and do the ride up to Gila NM.
December could be a bad time of year for motorcycle rides in the mountains. Even if there isn't snow the roads might be covered in debris from the winter weather.
But Alpine is a great road if its clear. It's well over 300 miles from Tucson. From Tucson you'd take I-10 East to 191 North. In safford 191 turns right (East) @ 70 for a few miles then it turns North again. You'll stay on it to an intersection known as 3 way. The roads are 191, 78 and 75. Turn left (North West) towards Clifton/ Morenci. Make sure you top off your gas in Clifton. Continue on 191 as you come up on the mine the road will bear right. Follow it up through the mine all the way to Alpine about 90 miles past the mine. It's best to get gas again in Alpine. In Alpine turn right (East / South East) onto 180. Take 180 to 78 turn right (West). You'll take 78 back to 3 way where you'll go straight onto 191 south. That's the loop.
