On The Dragon

Post by danham » Sat Oct 17, 2020 3:52 pm

Just got back from 2900 miles of fantastic riding in the North Carolina mountains. There are nicer, more challenging roads in the vicinity than the Tail of the Dragon, but none of them have photographers posted in the corners. ;-) That's my friend's SE+ behind me.

My MT07 is a lot of fun on the dragon the bigger bikes are a lot of work on it. As you said the roads around the area are more fun imo also

My bike on the east coast is an old Triumph Sprint. I agree the road is short and crowded. Also some damp spots as this happened early fall. Hope to return to try the other less crowded roads, I hear there are many to explore!
