State of things.
This upcoming year is going to be interesting. In speaking with various dealers in my area, the bikes they are getting, and the quantities they are receiving, are fairly low so I would expect prices to start going up.
Additionally, as of yet (10.24.21) there isn't an H2 SX model showing in the lineup. There are the normal H2's, and the ZH2/SX showing....but not ours. All is not lost, however, as there are 2 unannounced model refreshes and 2 new unannounced bikes that will be revealed Nov and Jan, IIRC.
The new SX could be announced with more gadgets. Fingers crossed for the (rumored) supercharged 15R.
Keep your eyes peeled over the next few months for announcements, and expect low quantities for most bikes, but especially bikes like ours. I expect more ZH2's to hit dealer floors than H2 or H2SX's (I don't believe the H2SX is gone).

Yea. I didn't suspect they would get rid of it, especially with them muling the radar system, allegedly.
With the chip shortages, however, I would not have been surprised if it's release was delayed a year.

Re: State of things.
I think the ZX15R is a leftover rumour from the leadup to the H2 being introduced, and I'd be surprised if it ever surfaces because in the car world motors are getting smaller but making more power with forced induction; hence the H2 series appearing in bikes. Kawasaki seems to be aiming for technology wins rather than more shock and awe bikes. I hope I'm wrong though because I'd like just one more big motor bike before it all goes The Jetsons.

These are not old rumors, but newer ones that have surfaced. It may just be a pipe dream, but one can hope, yes?
I'd take an "H2-15R" over nabbing a 14R and working on turbo-ing it, at least for a bike that I ride all the time.
