Re: vcyclenut, I still want a tune with a ZX10R header and slipon

I hear the Zx-10R header and Graves low exit pipe works really well :D  In related news, I bought a Yoshimura quiet-insert that fit's the Graves pipe with no mods. It got rid of most of the resonance and it's very reasonable on the dB level with it in. 1 allen bolt and it's removed and all lo...

Re: Steering Damper and Other High speed necessities

Nah, even the race tires I use are marked "W". Speed ratings are regulated numbers for sustained speeds though, never seen except the autobahn maybe. I'm sure if you show up with a W rated tire you're good. Probably just looking for people on low-rated touring tires and such. As for the steering dam...

I'm available in Nashville (not too far), how much are we talking about? Not something I was looking to buy, but if the price is right...

Re: Self-Tuning Thread

I managed to install the header using a variety of sockets and ratcheting wrenches without removing anything but the right side fairing. Made it a little difficult getting in there to all the header nuts, but saved me taking apart extra stuff. Did the woolich stuff on a different day though. I test ...

Re: Self-Tuning Thread

I've left it on my H2 SX for weeks sitting with the log box hooked up, hasn't drained the battery. Ducati....yeah, I could see that. Heck, I had problems on my 1199 even without mods of the battery dying. Yes, the Woolich harness is plenty long enough. It hooks up easily just like the instructions s...

Re: Self-Tuning Thread

If the instructions don't specify (can't remember), I would tend to go for the tail light wire for a switched power source.

Re: H2 SX SE+

I don't see any reason they would not. They don't bring all of their small-displacement bikes to the U.S., but usually otherwise sell everything here too. I'll be interested to see the availability of those Stylema calipers. Brembo was only selling them with a Panigale V4 before. Lighter and more ef...

Re: New Kawasaki models.

Hmm, how about a H2 SX SE LE? Haha. Seriously though, almost all of the bikes are getting new emissions equipment with a matching facelift this year, so I don't expect anything ground-breaking with this release. But that's just me guessing. Maybe they will truly be new models and not just updates.
