My MT07 is a lot of fun on the dragon the bigger bikes are a lot of work on it. As you said the roads around the area are more fun imo also

heres the dyno run, as you can see the real advantage on the regular h2 comes from spinning faster which we can not do with the h2sx

with the gears its a mechanical part that makes the supercharger spin faster at ALL rpms. Its a direct link so yes 100% boost and heat will be increased at lower rpms also the main difference between the regular h2 and h2sx is the compression ration is raised on the h2sx to help midrange power.
