Re: 15k Service

Re: 15k Service

I have a local shop that costs about half as much, and I trust them to work on most stuff (they services my 6R). I take it to a Kawasaki dealership though because I know they have the tools, and I know they work on other H2s as well so they have the experience.

Re: 15k Service

Really depends on your dealer. I haven't asked mine yet as I'm only about halfway there. Depends on their rates, how much they like you, etc.

Re: 15k Service

Service manual shows what is done; there is a digital copy on the forum here. Some of us do some of the tasks, and leave the ones we are uncomfortable with (or don't have the tools for) to the dealership.

Re: Sat Nav

Got a little OT there, so what models of dedicated SatNav to people like. Curious.

Also, how're you mounting it? Especially interested if you have a steering damper mounted.

Re: Sat Nav

Yep, I get it. It's more the "if your security was bad there, it's likely lax everywhere." thing. I'm sure they brought in experts to set up a proper EDR, etc. Bill for that is over 10mil US though, so it's probably something they should've considered.

I can download entire states offline to my phone, so.. /shrug. There are numerous planning apps out there, and I haven't had an issue with otterboxing a phone and having it overheat...ever. Either way, what you like is what matters. I'm not against a standalone at all, I just haven't found one enti...
