Re: Aftermarket vs OEM Oil filter

Good to hear they've updated their reference. The 303 filter used to be what showed up for H2 in their catalog. If its a closer match, I wouldn't be afraid to use the hi-flo. I use them on all my other bikes, it was just so wrong on the H2 I posted the above.

Re: brake upgrade

I did upgraded pads, that helped a good bit. Also installed Brembo master cylinder, that helped a lot as well. At the end of the day though, remember this is a heavy bike, she's not going to stop as fast as a supersport bike, but you can make it better. for sure I understand that, what pads did you...

Re: Oil change muscle

Yeah, I used a strap wrench on mine as well. Don't need the proprietary tool, but most likely you'll want something to assist getting it off. It's a normal oil filter, so any type of tool you can reach in there with will work. Over the years, I've used strap wrenches, channel-locks, a screw driver p...

Re: Centre stand removal

It's a steel bracket, so a decent savings. It was worth the 5 minute job to remove to me.

Re: Centre stand removal

I took mine off, and if you don't want to order the Kawasaki piece, it's just a spacer. Specs in mm 12mm X 22mm X 7.5mm. I got 2 washers that made that thickness (7.5mm) and used those.

Re: ASV Levers

Different levers. I don't think anyone makes levers for the H2 SX yet. I've tried ZX14 levers as well and they were close, but not close enough.

I think I will get the Kawasaki Z125
Great bikes. I only got the Grom for racing with WERA in the Grom Cup Spec class, otherwise I would have more strongly considered the Z125.

Re: Cherohala Skyway in the rain

Love that road, we were up there a few weeks ago being silly on Groms. Flat-out on the Grom. The H2 didn't suffer from the thin air quite as much, lol.

Groms are silly....which is why I own one :) Stupid crash though. Hitting a parked bike...oops.
