Re: brake upgrade

"HH" is just the friction rating. Both Ferrodo and EBC (and others I would guess) make HH sintered pads. I've used both Ferrodo and EBC in the past and can't say I've noticed a significant difference between the two. The main thing that changes is initial bite ... and noise ... HH pads are noisy. Yo...

Re: brake upgrade

Note the "EP" in EPFA is the Extreme Performance series ... spirited road riding or track day use. The normal street use sintered pads just start with FA###HH so you should be able to find the above pads as part # FA447HH.

Re: brake upgrade

For future reference the EBC front pads are part # FA379HH I have mine sitting in the cupboard waiting for me to find the time to fit them. The first thing I do to any bike is to upgrade the pads. I also upgrade my brake fluid to DOT 5.1 at the same time. DOT 5.1 fluid is glycol based and compatible...

Re: Opinions on 2-up

I sit on the bike with feet on the ground ... my wife (5" even) uses the left rider foot peg as a step up. Works a treat :)

Re: intercooler testing done

Could someone please explain the advantage of having the intercooler? I get that the cooler the air the more dense and hence more oxygen so more power but is that all or is there some impact to the longevity or health of the engine when the intake temps rise? ie would you damage the bike if you were...
